OUR PEOPLE
Tamaūpoko is made up of strong-willed people who have a drive to get involved for the greater benefit of the collective.
It is this sense of community spirit and passion, which will enable the people living at-home to actualise their dreams and aspirations by working together for community wellbeing.
Lack of employment opportunities has been a concern for some time now however there has been a recent resurgence of people returning to their home-lands and travelling into town for work, secondary schooling and skill-based training.
This has been made possible by the ongoing upgrading and maintenance of the Whanganui River Road.
Our people have a chance to lead positive change for them, by them and with them through the community-led development programme.
WHĀNAU, GET INVOLVED.
OUR TRUSTEES (GOVERNANCE)
